Background
As a leading global luxury automotive distributor with a century of history and over 40 premium stores across China, Sime Darby Motors needed to accelerate its digital transformation strategy. The group required a centralized digital platform to serve as a carrier for its digital assets, aiming to establish direct user connections, enhance corporate credibility, and generate actionable business leads to empower cost reduction and operational efficiency.
Method & Achievement
Strategy & Architecture: Applied the BXT (Business, Experience, Technology) framework to position the platform as a Brand Hub, Leads Generator, and Talent Engine, mapping out a comprehensive digital information architecture.
UX & O2O Conversion: Designed a responsive, low-friction user experience. Integrated geo-based intelligent store recommendations and persistent “Booking” CTAs to seamlessly funnel traffic to WeChat Mini-programs, driving an O2O closed loop.
Agile Development & Cloud: Engineered a decoupled architecture with a custom CMS. Managed end-to-end delivery, including Alibaba Cloud cluster deployment and rigorous security/performance testing.
SEO & Outcomes: Delivered a multi-device bilingual website with immersive luxury brand interactions. Executed full-scale SEO optimization, successfully securing 1st-page rankings across major search engines and increasing lead generation by 6%.
